Penis Enlargement Surgery

Penis enlargement surgery, also known as phalloplasty, is a process in which the penis is lengthened and/or widened by two procedures.

Lengthening is achieved by making an incision at the base of the penis and snipping the ligament that holds the penis to the pubic bone. What this does is allow for more of the penis that is usually tucked inside of the penis to be pulled outward, thus giving the illusion that the penis has been lengthened. Increases in length from one to two inches are common.

Widening (enlarging the girth) is achieved by injecting fat into the penis to achieve gains of up to 30 percent.

Danger Involved

It should be pretty obvious, but penis enlargement surgery is very dangerous. Possible complications include swelling due to improper fat injections and the risk of infection. In addition to the problems that can arise, the gains from surgery are not always permanent, as is the case with widening since the body tends to absorb the injected fat over time. The lengthening procedure can also slowly be negated unless traction is applied to the penis during the long healing process (several months).

Pricing

Pricing for penis enlargement surgery is very expensive, usually ranging from $7,000 to 15,000.
